Since 1989, The International Preparedness Network has been helping communities and individuals in New York City, across the United States and around the world to prepare for emergencies and disasters. Many in poor and neglected urban areas such as Harlem NYC (pictured below during a community outreach operation).

It has also helped to raise awareness about the many different potential threats to public safety and health that we currently face.
