The plain fact is that, no matter how painful it is to confront this reality, it is almost inevitable that our world is on the verge of experiencing the most major period of upheaval since the last great extinction 65 million years ago when a massive meteor crashed into the Earth & brought an end to the dinosaur age. 

Humans have predicted the end of the world for millennia, but our species has never come this close to the brink in our entire existence.  For those of us who wish to survive these . . . transitions, we will need to create methods that will allow us to develop an accurate forecast of approaching dangers, disasters, hazards and other destructive events.  This will allow for proper preparation and planning; and ultimately, the development of our new 21^st century protocols for human survival.
