IPN Health and Nutrition Tips

When disasters strike, your body is subjected to high levels of stress.  The food that you eat during this difficult period must be very nutritious and, provide your body with the extra energy it needs to perform the many strenuous tasks that disasters and emergencies almost always manifest.  Disasters are not the only threat to our health.  Environmental pollution is another.  Our air, water and food is tainted with many different types of toxic materials.  Over time, they embed themseves in our bodies and build up in our fatty (adipose) tissue. If their levels become very high, they can produce a wide range of health-related maladies.

Proper food, nutrition and water are your first line of defense for your health. The IPN believes that good health is by far, your most indispensable commodity -- and, is the foundation that your entire life rests upon during turbulent times.  This section will assist you in building the strongest foundation possible by providing you with the information, and products you need to get the job done properly.

Proper nutrition and physical fitness walk hand in hand.  You can't have one without the other.    Physical exercise will increase your body's need for nutrition and, you must make sure to provide it with the extra vitamins and minerals that it will require to function optimally.     This begins with establishing a balanced diet with the basic food groups:

Fruits
Vegetables,
Grains
Protein -
Legumes,
fish poultry -
red meat (for those who must)
